"Will you join in our Crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Somewhere beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Do you hear the people sing?
Say, do you hear the distant drums?
It is the future that they bring
When tomorrow comes!"
-Les Miserables
When I saw Sarah's speech on C-Span, I was literally energized by the second - and that's an understatement! Words can't fully describe how I felt when Sarah spoke. Everytime the crowds cheered, I was on my feet, shaking my fists and mouthing Sarah! Sarah! Sarah! (I can't shout when someone is working at home).
When Sarah spoke at length about the promises that Obama and Congress have broken, and the future of this great country called the United States, I couldn't help but agree with her because I have noticed it too. That included the backroom deals, taxes and security.
Oh my gosh, when Sarah talks security, you know that she knows what she's talking about. She called it like it is when she mentioned the Christmas Day bomber and that the only reason the bomb didn't go off was because of a Christmas Miracle and not a good system.
When Sarah acknowledged Obama's lecturing during his SOTU address, she went right to the point to say that "We need a President, not a law proffessor standing at the lecturn." I thought, "Way to tell it, Sarah! Three Republican victories is a message that 'that guy from Chicago' (as I call Obama) needs to stop lecturing and start listening!"
After her speech, Sarah sat down for a "Question and Answer" session. I remember before that session the man asking the questions said, "I could be wrong, but I think you like her." Oh, I felt my energy rising within me along with the people in the audience! I felt so excited for the person (Sarah) that has really helped me to become a much stronger person. Then my energy burst through me when the man said he believed there were two words that would scare the Liberals: President Palin! At that moment, I didn't care if I was shouting because I couldn't help but let it out and pump my arms in the air: RUN, SARAH, RUN! RUN, SARAH, RUN! RUN, SARAH, RUN!
Sarah's speech from that night has got to be the most powerful speech I have heard Sarah give! I don't think I will ever forget that night for a long time! If anyone missed the speech or wants to relive the moment, C-Span has the video posted on YouTube.
To all Americans across this great country, I encourage you to stand up and speak up. Forget about what the media or liberals will say about you! Like Sarah always says, plow through it because at the end of the day... WHO CARES?!?!?!?! To me, that's a sign for us that we're doing the right thing and that's what the Liberals are afraid of! Think about the quote at the beginning of this entry because I feel it is the call to action that Sarah and the Tea Party Movement are giving you!
Thank You and God Bless, America!
